Reflection about the importance of technology in the classroom

I found the information “Preparing Teachers to work with English Language Learner in Mainstream Classroom” very significant because show the importance of using technology in the classroom and how it benefits educators and learners.  This document explains the appropriate way to incorporate technological tools into the classroom. I have observed that the educators know the importance to incorporate technology into the classroom but the problem is that we do not know how to incorporate this important element adequately. Something that called my attention and make me feel motivated is the fact that, if I do not have great knowledge about technology, this does not mean impediment or barrier to make use of them because it is not necessary to be an expert in the subject what really matter is that we try to introduce the little or a lot of knowledge into our classroom and therefore it goes according to the students´ need.

The appropriate use of technology into my classroom will help me to engage and empower my students allowing me motivate them to learn lessons in a fun and enjoyable way. I can create activities where my students and I can interchange information and encourage more participation in the learning process. Promoting active participation into the classroom I can help my students increase knowledge retention and they can acquire knowledge about collaborative learning.
